Stargazer Creative

This was one of those dream projects where the client just lets you have complete creative freedom.

Stargazer is a new creative studio based in Victoria and I was contacted to assist with creating some new merch designs for their launch. I was to provide a poster design similar to the ones on my Instagram profile.

I took this as an opportunity to experiment with the new 3D features in Illustrator which now supports exporting .obj files. This allowed me to import the design into Substance 3D painter to then create the texture on the rendering.

Once that was done it was just a matter of creating the poster design using some public domain images from the Hubble Space Telescope and some simple noisey gradients.

We were both extremely happy with the result and you can now purchase the design on a shirt on their website.
